Laying the Bricks - Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Hello Everyone,

I have been really busy but will work on updating my blog more. Im living in a hotel room right now with Cody, Casey, and now Les Sigman. Luckily it is a suite type room. the room is starting to smell a little funny, especially Cunningham’s room-haha.

Our families aren’t with us right now and that is tough but will just be for a short time. When you dont have a wife and son that you want to hustle home to see, you spend a lot more time at the office. The transition is going well. With recruiting, finding a place to live, meeting with all the different branches of the athletic department, organizing the program, training guys, putting our staff together, I’m on the go. i love it.

Cody and I are hoping to sell our houses soon in Ames. Cunningham actually sold his house in two days. not sure how he pulled that one off.

We went mushroom hunting this past weekend at Quenton Wright’s house. We found a couple snakes, a nice walking stick, and Cody fell out of a tree. We didnt find any mushrooms, maybe next time.
