10 Keys to Winning the Big Ones - Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 10 Keys to winning the Big Ones *(in no particular order and there are more, but lets keep it simple) 1. Wrestle to win- attack!! Make it happen, don’t wait. 2. focus on your game plan, not what your opponent will do. 3. Keep things in perspective. (this is a game and life will go on win or lose. your bills will still need to be paid, your dog will still like you regardless and your parents probably will too) 4. Keep it simple; Focus on effort. 5. One match at a time. 6. Don’t be a fan. 7. Rest- get plenty of sleep. 8. Don’t worry about family and friends until tournament is over. (you are not the travel coordinator, party planner etc) 9. Forget about rankings. (Rankings are based on the past, today is a new day.) 10. Expect obstacles. (the only certainty is that everything not be perfect)
